TIE DYE

For many years the tie dye has been a strong part of the collections and this season we developed new techniques and colorful combinations of this beautiful artisan handwork, where all pieces are unique.

Silk is considered a more sustainable fiber - it is a renewable source and can biodegrade and uses less water, chemicals and energy than many other fibres. The micro modal is extraordinary soft and created by using the finest cellulose fibers to create the unique hand feel. The main reason why this fabric is considered to be environmentally friendly is that the fabric is highly homogenous.
    

     This shows how the silk modal fabric is tied with cotton yarns into long rope like shapes. On some pieces you see the marks from the binding. This gives the special crinkle effect at very various looks!

All pieces are made in a small workshop and all are done by hand. The fabric itself has a slight crinkle effect due to the silk content.
