A small but well-stocked organic health food store filled with wholesome treats and carefully selected products. Pick up something delicious from their own bakery and enjoy it with a cup of tea outside the shop.

Nørr & Leo
More than an interior store. Nørr & Leo brings together modern design, carefully selected objects and plenty of inspiration. It is a place where art and interiors meet, and you will probably leave with a few new ideas for your own home.

Laura's Håndplukket
A must-visit for vintage lovers. Expect a personal and carefully curated selection of vintage finds, decorative objects and little treasures. Charming, intimate and very difficult to browse without falling in love with something.

HØRLYCK
A carefully curated mix of shoes, clothing and accessories from selected brands. Take your time browsing the store and discover new favorites alongside classic pieces.

Seramikku
A little piece of Japan in Aarhus. If you love interiors, matcha or simply want to add something colorful and unexpected to your home, this tiny shop is worth a visit. Expect carefully curated Japanese ceramics alongside beautiful objects and interior pieces. It is difficult to leave empty-handed.

Palette 26
A modern take on vintage shopping with a curated selection of clothing and accessories. Definitely worth a visit if you are searching for a great pair of vintage shoes, an interesting accessory or something a little different to bring home.

Food Spots

Bastian
A newer hot spot in the city, located on one of the loveliest corners in Aarhus. Grab a table outside when the sun is out, bring a few friends and stay for the evening. Good food, drinks and a lively atmosphere make this a great place to settle in for a few hours.

Osteria
Simple, delicious Italian food with a modern touch. The atmosphere is lively and fast-paced while still feeling warm and inviting. Come for an evening around a table filled with antipasti, homemade pasta and plenty of dishes to share.

Bar Piatto
An Italian favorite with beautiful surroundings, carefully presented dishes and a relaxed atmosphere. A lovely spot for a slower dinner and a glass of wine in the city.

Bardok
A little different from everything else. Bardok serves an exciting menu inspired by countries both within and beyond Europe, with dishes you might not find anywhere else in Aarhus. Come for a fun evening, unexpected flavors and a setting full of personality.

Kloster Grønt & Frugt
A little gem in the middle of the city filled with fresh produce and delicacies. Stop by for a fresh salad to go, olives, vegetables or specialty goods that can be difficult to find elsewhere. Perfect for picking up something delicious for a picnic or an easy lunch.

Places to Explore

AROS
You cannot really say Aarhus without saying ARoS. The city's iconic modern art museum is home to changing exhibitions, impressive architecture and, of course, the famous rainbow panorama at the top, with views across the entire city.

Marselisborg Deer Park
Just outside the city center, Aarhus quickly turns into beautiful forests and coastline. Marselisborg Deer Park is the perfect escape when you need a break from the city. Take a walk through the forest among the deer and enjoy one of Aarhus' most peaceful green areas.

The Infinite Bridge
A bridge that never really ends. This circular artwork stretches out over the water and has become one of Aarhus' most recognizable seaside spots. Come for a walk by the coast, take a cold dip or simply enjoy the view with friends or family. Definitely worth the short trip from the city center.
