Viscose

Viscose brings a light, fluid quality to many PROJECT AJ117 styles. Its soft surface and natural drape create comfortable garments with an easy sense of movement.

We use viscose across dresses, shirts and lighter seasonal layers.

Viscose is a cellulose-based fiber made from wood pulp. Known for its smooth feel, breathability and fluid drape, it works particularly well in garments where softness and movement are important.

Origin

Viscose begins with cellulose, typically sourced from wood. The wood pulp is processed into fiber, spun into yarn and then made into fabric.

The characteristics of the finished fabric depend on both the raw material and production process. We select viscose qualities for their smooth texture, drape and comfort.

ECOVERO™

ECOVERO™ is a branded viscose fiber produced by Lenzing using wood from certified or controlled sources.

Compared with conventional viscose, its production process is designed to reduce water use and greenhouse gas emissions.

Viscose benefits from gentle handling. Reshaping the garment while damp helps maintain its shape and drape.
